Invisalign system has one disadvantage: a patient who is wearing aligners should be very disciplined. They are not to forget that the only way aligners are effective is when one wears them in the mouth, not in the pocket.
Invisalign aligners are custom made on the basis of 3D-scan. The virtual model of the malocclusion treatment is created with help of the computer program. The first mouthpiece and all the following ones are made on the basis of this model. Each mouthpiece moves the teeth gradually into the right position straightening the row of teeth step by step.
